Hey, I’m Sonia, a qualified counsellor and a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors. I work with adults navigating a wide range of challenges — things like anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma (including childhood trauma), relationship and family issues, OCD, ADHD, autism, disordered eating, and chronic conditions like endometriosis and PCOS. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just trying to figure things out, therapy can be a really valuable space to work through it. My approach is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I focus on creating a safe space where you feel comfortable to talk openly. Together, we can unpack what’s going on, make sense of how things are showing up for you, and work on strategies that support real, meaningful change. I offer in-person sessions in Hamilton and online across New Zealand, so you can access support in a way that works for you.
